As floods become frequent, researchers look for a more holistic view of drinking water management to ensure water at a reasonable cost while conserving natural resources and ensuring environmental protection.
The study conducted at the University of British Columbia – Okanagan campus evaluated the overall performance of several water distribution systems by combining water quality, changes to the environment and potential costs.
