The EU-funded ToDrinQ project will present its key achievements, scientific and technological results, and future perspectives during its Final Conference, taking place on 26 November 2026 in Brussels as part of the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster Annual Gathering.

Under the theme “Building on achievements and advancing towards a Water-Smart Society and Economy”, the event will bring together EU-funded projects, researchers, policymakers and water sector stakeholders to reflect on the progress achieved in water research and innovation and discuss priorities for the future.

Celebrating ToDrinQ’s Achievements and Legacy

As ToDrinQ approaches the conclusion of its activities, the event will provide an opportunity to showcase the project’s contribution to improving drinking water safety, quality and resilience.

A dedicated 30-minute ToDrinQ presentation, scheduled from 10:05 to 10:35, will highlight the project’s main scientific and technological achievements, key results, lessons learned and opportunities for the future exploitation of its outcomes.

The presentation will also explore the project’s contribution to the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster and its role in advancing innovative approaches to drinking water management.

Following the presentation, ToDrinQ will join MAR2PROTECT for a panel discussion entitled “From project results to lasting impact” (10:35–10:55), reflecting on shared experiences, project legacy and future perspectives.

Connecting Project Results with Future Water Innovation

Beyond ToDrinQ’s Final Conference, the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster Annual Gathering will provide a broader platform for exchanging knowledge and strengthening collaboration among EU-funded initiatives.

The programme will feature presentations from MAR2PROTECT and the newly joined projects AQUAMON, QleanUP, Watersens and Post-Purple, highlighting both the legacy of concluding initiatives and the ambitions of emerging projects.

Participants will also discover the Cluster’s recently published Policy Brief, “Securing Water Supply: How Innovative Water Technologies Can Build a Water-Smart and Resilient Europe”, followed by a panel discussion with project coordinators and European Commission representatives.

The discussions will address key challenges for the water sector, including scaling innovative solutions beyond pilot sites, overcoming policy and regulatory barriers, and strengthening the contribution of research and innovation to water resilience and pollution prevention
